How do you build my Spanish program so I learn the correct technical terms?
We understand how important it is to you to be able to speak successfully with your Spanish-speaking clients. We have the same goal: by the time you get back to your job we want you to taste the victory of speaking and understanding your Hispanic clients.
Therefore, we won’t waste your time by trying to ‘guess’ at the technical vocabulary you need. Before you ever get here, we bring in a Costa Rican professional from your field to help us develop and organize your Spanish program. In addition to the technical vocabulary, your professional Spanish counterpart chooses the best-matched volunteer work possible for you, so you have an opportunity to practice real life situations before you get back home. Then our Spanish teachers step in, and make your dream become reality.
What can I expect in terms of Spanish classes?
You have some options:
- Work with a 4-hour per day group to learn generalized Spanish (provided there is a group at your level) and then take an additional 1 – 2 hours of specialized Spanish with your Spanish language personal trainer to focus on your career area.
- Work full-time with a personal trainer to pump up your general and professional vocabulary at the same time. You can sign up for 2, 4, or 6 hours of one-on-one lessons per day based on how intensely and how quickly you want to learn.
