Wild life refuge Rancho La Merced is located in Uvita, near the Marino Ballena National Park. Within its 1250 acres, you can enjoy primary and secondary rain forests, mangroves, Morete River, beautiful beaches as well as an enormous variety of birds, mammal, reptiles and insects.
Horse back riding is the best way to explore Rancho la Merced but you can also hike and explore at you own pace. There are different tour options available: horseback riding, sunset tour, bird watching, cowboy tour and more. Rooms also available.
