Spanisch lernen in Costa Rica
Mary Latry- France- 2010 With two friends I embarked on an adventure to Costa Rica. The highlight of our trip was the SEPA school. We had decided to spend our first week studying Spanish at the Sepa school. When we arrived at the school it was like entering the garden of paradise. The school is located on a hill overlooking the countryside and the luxuriant garden of the school.
Our first day of school was a walking tour of the city with our teacher who was a very informative guide. We met many local people so could practise our Spanish.
When we would enter our classroom we left behind our native language and once inside we spoke only Spanish. Another day our class went to the local market wherby we mingled with locals and had fun using our Spanish.
During the week we had optional excursions in the afternoon such as a guided visit to a forest reserve, an afternoon to relax at a spa and an afternoon along the coast and time on the beach.
To sum it up our week of school was more fun than work but at the same time we progressed.
