Are there requirements for immunizations in Costa Rica?

There are no vaccinations required to enter . The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) does recommend that travelers be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B. Malaria is extremely rare, and most cases have been reported along the Caribbean coast.

Water is potable in almost all the cities including San Isidro de El General. However, If you wish to drink only bottled water, it is available throughout the country.
